1. Scope
This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies may be used through the website naturalhealthfellowship.com, operated by Assist – Natural Health Fellowship.
Natural Health Fellowship, also referred to as NHF, is an initiative of Assist – Natural Health Fellowship. References in this Policy to “NHF”, “Assist”, “we” or “us” refer to the same data controller.
The principal data-protection framework applied by Assist is Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as directly applicable in Italy, together with the Italian Personal Data Protection Code, Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 as subsequently amended.
This Policy should be read together with the NHF Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website or third-party service may store on a user’s device. They can allow information to be recognised during the same visit or on a later visit.
Similar technologies may perform related functions without necessarily storing a traditional text cookie.

8. Google Translate
The website may provide Google Translate as an optional third-party translation service.
The service is not necessary to access the original English content. It is activated only when the user chooses to use it.

Pages may in future contain videos, maps, documents, audio players or other content supplied by external platforms.
Where an embedded service can place non-essential third-party cookies or collect data before it is used, the content will be blocked or represented by a placeholder until the user chooses to activate it or provides consent where required.
Opening content directly on an external platform subjects the user to that platform’s privacy and cookie policies.
11. Cookies not intended to be used by Assist
Assist does not currently intend to use for its own purposes:

analytics cookies used to follow identifiable users or combine their activity across unrelated websites.
If privacy-preserving audience measurement is introduced, its configuration and legal classification will be assessed before activation and this Policy will be updated.
12. Consent for optional technologies
Strictly necessary cookies may be used without prior consent where permitted by applicable law.
Cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary will not be activated until the user has received appropriate information and expressed a valid choice, where consent is required.
Refusal of optional cookies will not prevent access to the public content of NHF. It may make the specific external or optional function unavailable.
Consent will not be inferred from silence, continued browsing or preselected options.
Where several optional purposes are present, the user will be able to make choices with an appropriate degree of detail.
13. Changing or withdrawing preferences
Where optional technologies are used, the website will provide an accessible method for changing or withdrawing previous choices.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Deleting browser cookies may also delete the record of a previous preference, in which case the website may ask the user to make the choice again.

16. Third-party services

Assist selects and configures external services with attention to data minimisation and user choice but does not control cookies or similar technologies used independently by a third party after the user activates its service or enters its website.
